Wind Industry Tour de France

Our Doctoral Candidates have a busy schedule, and have recently participated in the second industry workshop - Wind Industry Tour de France, from May 5 – May 7 2026.

The event included:

• An industry workshop at EDF in Paris-Saclay

• Industrial production insights at Vaisala France

• Maintenance base and Demonstration zone visit at Fécamp

• A visit to the Fécamp offshore wind farm

• And last but not least, the DC's presented their nearly finalized innovations and research for the industrial and academic partners, gaining valuable feedback to help improve their work.

The event combined industrial insights with networking. This furthered reflections on how the DC's work can contribute to the industry, gained through discussions with the actual firms and organisations who will be relying on, and working with, the PhD's results in the future.
